Electrical Engineering Department was established in 2013. Every year, the Department admits about 60 students. Currently the department has 06 faculty members, 03 Non-teaching staff members. The department has specialisation in work area such as Distribution system planning and operation, Optimal system operation, Power system protection, monitoring, control and simulation, Power quality, Relay coordination, Power system automation, Artificial intelligence applications and voltage stability of power system, Tele medicine, ECG signal analysis and classification, Digital single and image processing, Industrial instrumentation, Control system analysis and optimisation, Condition monitoring of electrical machines/drives, Modelling and simulation of electric machines. Department is doing Efforts on such Activities including Industrial Visits, Entrepreneurship, Micro projects and organising Tours. Faculty members of the department are active in several research areas such as Renewable Energy, Communication, Infrared Imaging, and Signal and Image processing, Power system, High Voltage Engineering. The department undertakes a continuous process of setting up experimental and computational facilities for taking up development and consultancy activities in various fields as also to produce state of art research output. Each student is guided by Allotted Mentor and Handled by Appropriate Method. E-learning opens Infinite Numbers of Doors for Students to Receive Knowledge and Students are being Facilitate by huge number of such Services by Department. Practical Oriented Education is the only key to achieve huge Success in Respective Career. We have a vibrant body of students. Our students have been very successful and have won many accolades in the recent past from different Institutions, Universities and Boards for Academics, Sports and Cultural Activities. Graduates from the department at all levels secure excellent placements. A large number of our Alumni have made their careers in different areas. Many of them occupy positions in Industry all over the Maharashtra, and few of them have founded successful enterprises.
